Critics Choice Award, Raindance
Our film Rubik’s cube won the critics choice award for the Raindance and Directline’s 40 second competition.
We went to the awards ceremony in Soho and when we won, all we could say was, “Woah” over and over.
The prize is a trip to Cannes Film Festival.
Thank you to Elliot Grove and everyone at Raindance, Alex Zane and all of the judges and to Directline.
More excited than for anything. Ever.

Some friends & I went to edinburgh for the international film festival for a few days. ..
i saw an incredible film called between two fires. it is such a harrowing film with a phenomenal performance by magdalena poplawska.
on the last night we went to the closing party of the festival because my friend had a film in the nokia competition. there was great music courtesy of the fantastic summer camp & plenty of free drinks! swell times.
didn’t bother sleeping afterwards because our train home was at 5am so we stayed up watching beyoncé glastonbury highlights.

NFFTY Film Festival, Seattle, USA.

April 2009
We attended NFFTY - Seattle’s international film fest for talented youth, where we met some pretty amazing young filmmakers (the age limit being 22) and sat down with a 2000+ audience to watch the opening gala films.
Amongst them ‘How to say i love you’ was screened.
It was the most incredible experience. We rode to siff cinema with the COO of the CW network and his wife.
They both seemed very genuine and lovely. since we’ve both got a lot of love for Gilmore Girls this was a rather surreal experience.
p.s. Seattle. We love you.
